I heard about J & T from neighbors and decided to try. Put in a phone order a week prior to the day of pick up. Earliest I could pick up was 10am which was agreed upon. I get there few minutes after 10 and when they check on the order, they say, sorry it's not ready, it's gonna be another 30 min. I was not familiar with the area and it didn't seem like anything commercial was nearby so we waited in the car for the 30 minutes. I finally got the steamed crabs I ordered and left the place at 10:40. The crabs themselves were meaty, for the 1/2 bushel it was mostly mediums, with a few smalls. The family enjoyed working the crabs and my 7 year old had a fantastic time cracking crabs for the first time. I was glad I had the patience to wait around but wondered if this was a typical occurrence at J & T. The 1/2 bushel was $145 which seem to be the going rate at other places.

Always on point with quality. I go there all the time for their crab legs. The pricing is in line with the other seafood establishments in the area.

The crabs here are always heavy. I typically order them when dining at Woodbine Inn across the street.
Last weekend was our first time picking them up.
I called ahead and was able to reserve a dozen and a half extra larges for $ 95 a dozen.
I also got some Fisher's popcorn and crab paper.
Total was $ 151.
Service was friendly on the phone and the crabs were hot and ready for pick up at the time I requested.
Will definitely be back! -

I love this market. Their crabs are amazing and their prices are pretty competitive. Unfortunately, all crabs cost a fortune. The staff aren't super friendly but the seafood is fresh, hot and yummy. Highly recommend this place for crabs.

I eat crabs once a week all year long and J&T's is by far the best in Maryland. Only Conrad's in Perry Hall comes close. The people here who are giving this place less stars for the people behind the counter crack me up. Who cares if they're always busy and the people ringing you up aren't chipper and friendly. That's a 60 second interaction versus 2 hours of eating the best crabs around. Sorry but those reviews shouldn't count. This place is LEGIT!
